Biography
I studied gem stone engraving and cutting in Turnov/ Czech Rep. and Art Glass in Novy Bor/CZ. I´ve taught and exhibited internationally (Corning/NY, Frauenau/D, Sazava/CZ) I was artist in residence in TIGA Toyama/JP, Pilchuck Glass School/WA and Eisch Hütte Frauenau/D. My studio is located in Zelezny Brod, Czech Republic, I teach here, do commissions and my art, have fun.

Engraving Techniques
My favourite techniques are:
copper wheel engraving, diamond, stone... emery paper, sandstone, hammer, sandblasting, flexible drive, anything... :) and cold-bonding (my engravings are "floating" in the glass)... I work with overlaid (flat or hollow) or clear glass as well as optical lenses... I love doing experiments with our wonderful technique, I try to combine it with different materials,... see here:
