Associate Fellow Assessment
Please note that there are two ways for a Craft Member to be elected to Associate Fellowship.
- A Craft Member may be put forward for Associate Fellowship of the Guild on the recommendation of three Fellows, or two Fellows and one Associate Fellow without the prior knowledge of the Craft Member. The recommendation should take the form of a letter signed by all three proposers and sent to the Guild Administrator for ratification by the Guild Council at the next meeting. Should the Guild Council ratify the Associate Fellowship, the candidate will have the opportunity to accept or reject the recommendation.
- A Craft Member who considers they have reached the required standard and would like to have their work assessed may use the same procedure as given for Craft Assessment except that five pieces are required. Please see the notes on Craft Assessment Procedure for details.
Please contact the guild administrator for a copy of the form for Associate Fellowship Assessment.
